There is a saying that good things come in
threes, and Ohio State certainly believes
that after landing the third brother from
the Boren family. Jacoby Boren announced
Friday that he would be following his two
older brothers, Justin and Zach, to play
college football for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State plans on playing the younger
Boren on the offensive line, possibly at
center or guard. Although older brother
Justin will be graduating after this season,
he will be able to play one year with Zach,
when he reports in 2012.
"They told me to be prepared to play center
or guard, whichever spot they need me to
play," he admitted. "It was never for-sure
that I would go to Ohio State once they
offered, but I never really looked at anyone
else. Having had two brothers play for Ohio
State gives me an advantage in knowing how
they do things, and how classy the program
is."
"Being able to play one year with Zach is
great," he stressed. "It will be like high
school, when we played together when I was a
freshman. I plan on working my tail off and
trying to live up to what my brothers are
doing at Ohio State. I know in my heart that
I couldn't have picked a better school."
