Ohio
State has accepted the commitment of
Massillon (Ohio) Washington wide receiver
Devin Smith, the 15th commitment to the
Buckeyes' 2011 recruiting class.
Smith,
one of the top prospects in Ohio, received
his offer after an impressive performance at
Ohio State's senior camp. Smith transferred
from Akron (Ohio) Ellet after his sophomore
season. As a junior, Smith had 989 receiving
yards as a junior, and scored 15 touchdowns,
in helping lead the Tigers deep into the
Ohio playoffs.
Devin
chose Ohio State over Boston College,
Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan
State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, West Virginia
and Wisconsin..
