Comments:

Canton McKinley junior star Steve Miller has become the second member of the 2011 Ohio State recruiting class. Miller is ranked as one of the top defensive end prospects in the country, and he made his pledge to the Buckeyes in a call to head coach Jim Tressel.

Miller follows the commitment of another defensive end, Kenny Hayes of Toledo Whitmer.  Canton McKinley head coach Ron Johnson has coached Miller his entire career and he spoke glowingly of his junior star.

"You know him as well as I do, he's got great skill, in terms of size and speed," Johnson said. "He also has great intangibles that make him really special. He takes coaching well and he has a great desire to get better every day. He called Jim Tressel after practice to give him the news, and Coach Tressel was overjoyed to hear the news. I know Steve felt strongly that Ohio State was the place for him, so he decided today would be a great day to get it done. I couldn't be prouder of this young man."
