Ohio State added commitment number seventeen with the addition of Bradley Roby, of Suwanee Peach Tree Ridge (GA). Roby, who earlier committed to Vanderbilt, notified both staffs today of his decision. Roby will start out at defensive back for the Buckeyes, but could end up at wide receiver.

Roby intimated the decision to switch to Ohio State was not an easy move to make, mainly because of the deep respect he has for Vanderbilt.

"I know in my heart going to Ohio State is the right decision for me, but I still hated to do that to Vanderbilt," he continued. "I hate letting people down, and especially a staff I love so much, but I had to do what was best for me, and there's no doubt Ohio State is the place for me. Ohio State just has everything I want in a school."

"Coach (Jim) Tressel has told me I will start out at cornerback, but that could change," he stressed. "He told me guys like Teddy Ginn and Anthony Gonzalez started out as defensive backs, and now they're in the NFL as wide receivers. I just want to play the position that gets me on the field quickest."
