For the Ohio State Buckeyes the annual spring game is always a very important recruiting tool. During the 2008 spring game OSU reeled in, or basically secured numerous commitments. The same thing is happening this year. 

Scott McVey seemed like a natural fit at Ohio State as soon as he earned a scholarship offer late in 2008, and he ended any drama by making up his mind and then issuing a verbal commitment before Saturday's spring game.

He chose OSU over Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Iowa, Boston College, Stanford and West Virginia.
