Ohio State has
picked up its first verbal commitment from a
wide receiver for the class of 2010.
Four-star prospect James Louis has pledged
to join the Buckeyes, pushing their number
of verbal commitments into double digits in
the process.
Louis, a four-star prospect from Delray
Beach (Fla.) Atlantic, caught 56 passes for
1,128 yards as a junior while earning
third-team all-state honors.
Listed at 5-11, 180 pounds, Louis is ranked
by Scout.com as the No. 26 wideout in the
country.
He becomes verbal commitment No. 10 for
OSU's class of 2010 and the first wide
receiver to join the class.
Louis chose
Ohio State over Alabama, Florida, Georgia,
LSU, Mississippi and Virginia Tech.
