2010 - Auburn defeated Oregon for the national title.  OSU again finished #5 in the nation.
2009 - Alabama defeated Texas for the national title.  Ohio State placed #5 in the nation.
2008 - The Florida Gators won their second title in 3 years.  OSU finished #9 in the country.
2007 - The Buckeyes lost their second consecutive national championship to the SEC.
2006 - The Buckeyes dropped the national championship game to the Florida Gators.
2005 - Texas won the national championship.  OSU finished #4 in the country.
2004 - USC was at the top of the polls.  The Buckeyes finished the year strong at #20.
2003 - LSU & USC shared the national title.  The Buckeyes finished #4 in the country.
2002 - The Buckeyes earned their 7th national championship after finishing 14-0.
2001 - The Miami Hurricanes won the title.  The Buckeyes finished out of the AP poll.
2000 - Oklahoma finished the season #1. OSU finished the season outside of the AP's Top 25.
1999 - Florida State was the top team in the country. 
1998 - Tennessee was college football's first BCS champion defeating Florda State. 
1997 - Michigan and Nebraska shared the national title.  OSU finished the season at #12.
1996 - Florida finished the season #1 in the polls.  Ohio State was #2 in the nation.
1995 - Nebraska ended the season #1 in the polls.  Ohio State was #6 in the nation.
